10 Ways Men and Women Communicate Differently

Remember these differences when communicating and you’ll experience more understanding and fewer arguments.

It is essential to acknowledge differences between how men and women communicate instead of trying to change the other person to share like them. While these are generalizations and will differ for each person, check out some key differences between both sexes.

1: Men want to be seen as impressive and admired by their partners, while women want to be understood and appreciated. Remember that when giving compliments and having conversations with each other.

2: Men prefer direct communication that is straight to the point. Women prefer more details when communicating.

3: Men place achievement high on their priority list. Women put achievement on there too, but relationships tend to be higher on their priority list (romantic and friendships).

4: Men’s primary sense is visual. Women are more in touch with multiple senses.

5: Men have to focus on tasks individually. Women can divide their concentration better to multitask.

6: Men can separate their emotions from relationships. Women tend to link it all together.

7: Men seek to conquer. Women desire to nurture.

8: Men like to hear graphic phrases during sex. Women enjoy that too, but more romantic words get a better reaction.

9: Men have more testosterone than women, making them more dominant and independent.

10: Men tend to look for solutions first when informing them of a problem. Women tend to want to discuss the issue more in-depth before discussing solutions.
