Premature Ejaculation: 5 Exercises to Try

Dealing with premature ejaculation can cause stress beyond the bedroom, but hope exists.

Dealing with premature ejaculation can cause stress beyond the bedroom, but it is more common than you think and hope exists! We’re here to break the stigma and provide practical solutions. We understand the frustration and disappointment that can come with it, but let’s remember – you are not alone in this journey. We’re here to support you every step of the way.

What exactly is premature ejaculation? It occurs when a man ejaculates sooner than desired during sex and can be due to multiple reasons. While some reasons may require a visit with a professional, for less severe reasons, there are exercises you can do at home.

1: Squeeze Technique

Step 1: Before you feel you are about to ejaculate, squeeze the end of the penis where the glans meet the shaft. You could also try pressing the base of the penis.

Step 2: Continue to squeeze for a few seconds. Then, stop for 30 seconds or so and continue masturbation or penetration again. This may help extend your erection.

2: Stop/Start Technique

When you are close to ejaculating, stop moving and ask your partner to stop moving too. After a few seconds, when the sensation has decreased, continue masturbation or intercourse. As you continue to do this, you’ll be able to remain aroused, and when you do finally ejaculate, it will be much more intense.

3. Penis Lifts

Put a lightweight scarf, bandana, handkerchief, or tissue on your erect penis. Start raising it up and down like a weight for as long as possible. Also, try putting a hand towel across the base of the penis and use your pelvic muscles to lift it up and down. After this, move the hand towel to the head of the penis and repeat the lifts.

4: Pelvic Floor Exercises

When your pelvic muscles aren’t strong, it can be hard to delay ejaculation. You can identify these by tightening the muscles that help you stop urinating midstream. Strengthen them by contracting them for 3-5 seconds and then releasing for 3-5 seconds. Repeat this exercise 10 times a few times a day.

5: Temporary Solutions

You can also buy penis rings and desensitizing creams to assist, but these should not be used as a permanent solution.
